Project Description

This new single tenant building designed for Walgreens is located on a prominent corner along the West Hartford/ Hartford Line. The existing building on the site was demolished in order to re-organize the site layout for a new pharmacy layout, safe vehicular access, parking, a pharmacy drive-thru and a small “Welcome to West Hartford” Park. We worked with the town of West Hartford both on the site design and the building facade design. The neighborhood consists of brick and masonry early 20th century buildings and our goal was to create a contemporary building that worked well within the surrounding context.
