This house is located in the Historic District of the Borough of Fenwick. The original 1,600 square foot house, built as a summer cottage at the turn of the 20th century had been neglected and fallen into disrepair. The new owner asked us to acquire a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Historic District Commission to construct a new house, nearly 3 times its size.

The final 4,800 SF house design, 3 cardboard models later (a requirement of the Historic District Commission), combined the re-construction of the original house design along with a substantial addition.
